Cedar Decks are a traditional favourite Vancouver decking material,  we offer a very wide variety of styles and options when it comes to cedar decking. There are different  grades of cedar decking from clear cedar to tight knot cedar, we also offer factory applied stains that are applied in a controlled environment that last for many years. We can do six inch planking or 4 inch planking, we typically like to do a wide border around the outside edge of the deck to center the area and bring focus to the beautiful characteristic’s of B.C.’s natural resource cedar decking.

Pressure Treated Deck Coverings

Pressure treated decking is a great choice for the person that loves the look and feel of wood decking but doesn’t want to have to worry about the maintenance of staining the decking every three to five years. With pressure treated decks the wood is treated with a chemical that is high in copper which makes it very resistant to insects and fungi that may cause decay. It comes from the lumber yard typically very wet and with a light green colour to it, this colour fades out after a season or two and will eventually grey out like a natural cedar product which can then be stained a variety of colours.
